About the Role
As a Project Coordinator at The Gould Group, your primary responsibility is to drive the successful execution of energy efficiency projects, seamlessly integrating both warehouse operations and office tasks. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and project milestones, directly supporting our mission to revolutionize the energy sector.
You’ll spend 25-50% of your time in the warehouse, managing materials, shipping to job sites, and overseeing inventory. The remaining 50-75% will be focused on project coordination in the office, collaborating with suppliers, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring all project details are aligned for successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations (25-50%):
• Receive, manage, and organize materials from vendors.
• Ship materials to various job sites, ensuring timely delivery.
• Manage and monitor inventory, ensuring accuracy and availability of materials.
• Kit projects and create packing lists according to Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Operate a forklift as needed (experience preferred but not required).
Project Coordination (50-75%):
• Oversee and monitor the progress of energy efficiency projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules and plans.
• Execute administrative tasks, including managing purchase orders, material inventory reports, and delivery receipts.
• Assist in resource scheduling, ensuring team members have what they need to meet project demands.
• Foster cross-team collaboration to assist in the completion of tasks and deliverables.
• Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing any challenges.
• Conduct risk assessments, proposing solutions to mitigate potential issues.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

Successful Candidates Will Have:


  • At least 3+ years of experience in project coordination or project management, preferably in the construction sector. 

  • A strong understanding of the procurement process, including: Purchasing Transportation Management (Truckload and Less-than-Truckload (LTL)) 

  • A proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish. 

  • Solid organizational and multitasking skills. 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to effectively work with diverse teams. 

  • Problem-solving skills leading to quick and effective solutions and strategies. 

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and project management tools. 

  • Netsuite experience is a plus. 

  • A working knowledge of project management software is preferred. 


Required Education or Certification


A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field. 

Valid Driver’s License. 

Certifications such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
