About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable onsite Solar Project Construction Manager with a California C-10 Electrical License to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning construction projects and overseeing their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your key responsibilities will include organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects.

As the Solar Project Construction Manager, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. With your keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, you will ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget.
Your expertise in project management will be crucial in coordinating resources, resolving any issues that may arise, and delivering successful construction projects. 

Responsibilities

·       Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion

·       Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables

·       Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations

·       Coordinate subcontractors

·       Track project inventory

·       Meet contractual conditions of performance

·       Review the work progress on daily basis

·       Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status

·       Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones

·       Assist in obtain permits and licenses, as needed

·       Analyze, manage and mitigate risks

·       Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Requirements

Requirements:

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, construction, distribution, or a related field.

  • Experience in warehouse management or similar roles within the solar, HVAC, electrical contracting, or roofing distribution sectors.

  • Ability to drive a forklift (training available if no prior experience).

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

  • Problem-solving abilities, with a focus on finding quick and effective solutions.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and project management tools.

  • Experience with Netsuite and project management software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree and above.

  • Valid Driver’s License.

  • Certifications such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) are preferred.
